Terms of use
The short version
- TableTalk is free for guests. Restaurants pay for it.
- Rate what you really ate and saw. Be honest and fair; no insults, no ads, nothing illegal.
- Pal is an AI and can be wrong. For allergies and diets, always check with the staff.
- When you pay or tip, you pay the restaurant or the waiter, through Stripe. The meal and any refund are between you and the restaurant.
- Reviews you post on Google or TripAdvisor are yours — you post them, under those sites' rules.
Who we are
TableTalk is provided by Delipal SRL, Strada Traian Demetrescu nr. 12, biroul 2, etaj E, ap. 2, Brașov, județul Brașov, Romania, Trade Register no. J2022000215086 (EUID ROONRC.J2022000215086), CUI 45523018. Contact: info@tabletalk.app.
By using TableTalk you agree to these terms and to how we handle data as described in our privacy policy.
Using TableTalk
- You can use TableTalk without an account. If you sign in, keep your access to yourself.
- You must be at least 14 to use it. To agree to a restaurant's offers, you must be 16, or have a parent's agreement.
- Use it only for what it is for: your own visits, your own bills, your own opinion.
- Do not try to break, overload or copy the service, or read data that is not yours.
- TableTalk is still being built. Features may change, pause or end, and we do not promise it is always available.
What you post
Ratings, notes and photos you add are public in TableTalk, with your first name, and are shared with the restaurant.
- Be honest. Rate only dishes and visits you actually had. Do not rate a place you own or work for, and do not accept anything in exchange for a rating.
- Be fair. No insults, threats, hate or harassment. Do not name or show other guests or staff in a way that hurts them.
- Post only what you may post. Photos must be yours. No illegal content, ads or spam.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to show, translate and share it in TableTalk and with the restaurant, for free and for as long as it stays up.
- We may hold back or remove content that breaks these rules. AI checks notes for spam first, and a note it flags is not shown. If we remove something you posted, we tell you why when we can, and you can ask us to look again.
AI features
- Pal is an AI and is always marked "AI". It answers from the restaurant's menu and other guests' ratings, and it can be wrong or out of date.
- Never rely on Pal, diet tags or the menu alone for an allergy or a medical diet. Always confirm with the staff or the kitchen.
- Bill reading, translations and review drafts are made by AI. Check them before you rely on them. You are responsible for any review you post.
Payments, tips and splitting
- Where a restaurant offers it, you can pay your bill or tip in the app. Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe's terms. We never see your card details.
- A bill payment goes to the restaurant; a tip goes to the waiter. The restaurant sells you the meal — TableTalk is not a party to that sale.
- Questions about the bill, the food or a refund go to the restaurant. Card disputes go through your bank or Stripe.
- You can only pay a bill once it matches the restaurant's menu. Check the amount before you confirm.
- Splitting a bill with friends is an arrangement between you. Revolut or other transfers between friends happen outside TableTalk.
Restaurant information
Menus, prices, photos, opening hours and allergen information come from restaurants, from guests and from services like Google. We work to keep them right, but the restaurant is responsible for its own information. Scores show what guests rated; they are not our recommendation.
Reporting content
If you see something illegal or against these terms, write to info@tabletalk.app. Say what it is, where it is, and why it is wrong. We look at every report and tell you what we decided.
Our responsibility
- We provide TableTalk with care, but as it is, and we cannot promise it is error-free.
- We are not responsible for the restaurant's food, service or prices, or for what other users post.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our responsibility for harm we cause by intent or gross negligence, or for injury.
Ending, changes, law
- You can stop using TableTalk at any time and delete your data in Profile › Settings › Privacy & security.
- We may block access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
- If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell you in the app before an important change applies.
- These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law where you live, and you may go to the courts there.
- For a complaint, write to us first. You can also contact Romania's consumer authority, ANPC (anpc.ro).
